The rustic 16th-century San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge will enchant even the most discriminating guests with its magic and discreet elegance. The tall vaulted ceiling of the entrance area sets the tone for the entire lodge, a pleasant contrast to the snug and homely atmosphere of the luxurious interior. The ambience of the ground floor breathes the natural warmth and soft elegance of a lived-in home. You will immediately feel welcome and relaxed.
The living rooms of the lodge are located on the left, the sunny side of the building. A stately stube welcomes its guests with traditional warm friendliness. There is a second smaller stube, converted into an attractive reading room equipped with luxurious lounge suites and chairs. It draws its charm from the contrast between the ancient rustic structure and the modern luxury of its furnishings.
The opposite side of the entrance hall gives access to the kitchen and pantry. The original structure of the old kitchen has been preserved and accommodates state-of-the-art kitchen equipment catering to the wishes of the most astute chef.
The ground floor also contains a small room that used to be a pantry. Now equipped with modern communication technology, it has been converted into a study cum home-entertainment room.
The first floor sleeping area of San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge is reached via a narrow flight of stone stairs. The hall that gives access to the four bedrooms is also a cosy lounge area complete with an open masonry fireplace. This sensuous lounge area leads onto four bedrooms of entirely different design, each of them distinct from the others.
The bathrooms have all been newly installed, equipped with all modern conveniences. The double room Il Nido shares the bath with Il Rifugio, which features two bunk beds.
Adjacent to the bedrooms on the first floor there is a small relaxation area. At its centre there is a four person spa bath. Half hidden behind a wooden partition there is the centre-piece of the relax area, a Finnish sauna.
For nature-lovers the owners have devised something special on the sheltered lawn behind the house: a heated stainless-steel panorama whirlpool, installed just a few steps from the outdoor lounge area. Only the enchanting view of the valley below and the perfect tranquility around you keep you company.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 6 people and includes full gourmet catering service and a shuttle service to the slopes of Plan des Corones. Drinks charged in addition.

Giorgia and Stefano have created a chic and cosy nest here, within the heavy walls of this former hunting lodge: the feeling is of being afloat in a warm and sumptuous world. Being at San Lorenzo is being at one with Mother Nature, in the regal company of her Alpine peaks.
At San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge, guests have the option of enjoying Giorgia's delicious local specialities or being served by a prestigious chef – expect a feast of the palate and of the senses accompanied by fine wines from South Tyrol and beyond.
From the exterior of the lodge, you can access what was formerly a small stable for goats, with the original stone walls and wooden roof. Giorgia and Stefano have transformed this space into a delightful and intimate wine cellar. In this charming and very original tasting space, your hosts will guide you through a selection of wines and give you an introduction into the unique aromas and flavours of the region.
