The Property
Chesa Goodmountain is a traditional mountain home sleeping up to 10 guests, offering an authentic Swiss getaway in the village of Samedan, close to St Moritz. With five inviting bedrooms, over 400m² of interior space, and a soothing wellness area, this is a wonderful option for your next luxury ski holiday to this iconic, glamorous region.
With traditional wood interiors, homely furnishings, and authentic decorations, Chesa Goodmountain fosters a classical alpine atmosphere. The living areas of the chalet, located on its first floor, provide a cosy, welcoming space in which to relax and socialise as a group. A venerable open fireplace draws the eye and breathes warmth throughout the living area, with comfortable sofas and armchairs laid out before it. Tucked away in the corner within this open-plan space, benefitting from a banquette seating booth, is the convivial dining area of the chalet, perfect for enjoying family-style meals together. Adjacent to the sitting and dining room is a closed-off kitchen, well-appointed for all your culinary needs. Balconies extend off the main living area of Chesa Goodmountain, while a terrace and small garden space can be found on the ground level, providing you with a lovely outdoor space in which to enjoy some fresh mountain air and the gorgeous alpine scenery.
On its ground floor, Chesa Goodmountain features a quaint yet well-equipped wellness area, dedicated to providing you with a tranquil space in which to unwind after a day of skiing in St Moritz. If the sunken indoor Jacuzzi doesn't help soak your troubles away, then a revitalising stint in the Hammam or the restorative effects of the sauna is sure to do the job instead.
There are five double bedrooms to Chesa Goodmountain, sleeping a total of 10 guests overall. An elegant master suite occupies the top floor of the property, featuring an impressive stone freestanding bathtub, alongside two smaller private balconies, an en-suite shower room, and a private office area. The other four spacious double bedrooms, three located on the ground floor with direct garden access, exhibit a homely alpine style. All these rooms are accompanied by en-suite facilities.
Chesa Goodmountain includes a garage with ski storage.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and includes the services of a private chef, chalet host/hostess and housekeeping team. Food and drinks are an additional charge and are calculated upon cost plus the applicable local VAT.
The chalet is also available on a self catered basis with daily cleaning.
Prices do not include Swiss VAT of 3.8%, which will be calculated on top of the advertised rates.
Location
Chesa Goodmountain is a luxury alpine home in Switzerland, located within Samedan, a village just outside St Moritz.
The closest ski lift to Chesa Goodmountain is the Survih drag lift within Samedan, about 1km from the chalet, giving you access to a beginner slope. 8-minutes drive from the property will take you to the Celerina-Marguns cable car, which takes you into the Corviglia ski area of St Moritz.
Samedan has some local restaurants and supermarkets to explore. It also has a train station, just 10-minutes walk from Chesa Goodmountain. St Moritz can be accessed via train, or a 13-minute drive, where you will find gourmet restaurants, stylish bars, and luxury boutiques. Samedan is also home to an airport for private jets.
