The Property
Chalet Melilot is a rare find in Verbier; A small chalet that sleeps 4 people. The majority of properties in Verbier are larger chalets that accommodate groups. This two bedroom chalet can accommodate the four guests in 120m² of space, and is therefore perfect for small families.
The main living space within the chalet is found on the middle floor. This is a lovely light living space with great views over Verbier and the peaks and valleys beyond. This open-plan living space has a seating area complete with log burning fireplace and TV, making it ideal for snug evenings relaxing on the sofa. The adjoining dining space is double height, so adds a feeling of space to the living area. The dining table can accommodate 8 people so works well if you plan on welcoming others to join you for the evening and the fully equipped kitchen is the ideal place to rustle up some local delicacies.
This family chalet in Verbier comes with two bedrooms, both found on the top floor of the property and both with their own en-suites. The Master bedroom is in a double configuration and has balcony access and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a glass wall which overlooks the dining space below and the views across Verbier. This wall can be curtained off for privacy. This bedroom can be configured in a twin or double configuration and has its own en-suite shower room.
The chalet also has the benefit of a ski and boot room complete with boot warmers and there is external parking for one vehicle.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 4 guests on a self catered basis, to include daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change.
Accommodation only rates without housekeeping or mid-week towel change are also available, please enquire.
Location
Located in the exclusive Les Esserts area of Verbier, close to the Les Esserts beginner slopes. When weather permits you can ski from the Les Esserts beginner slope, through Hameau to the Le Rouge piste, which has a lift that will allow you to access the rest of the mountain. The Savoleyres lift station is a 2 minute drive and the Médran lift station is a 5 minute drive.
The centre of the resort (Place Central) is a 5 minute drive from the chalet and here you will find a good range of shops, restaurants and local bars. . The efficient local ski bus is accessed by foot in approximately 3 minutes. There are a choice of 2 stops, one of the stops has buses that take you to the Savoleyres and Médran lift stations or Place Central. The other stop has a bus that takes you to Carrefour, from where you can easily link up with the main ski area by skiing across to the Meyentset ski lift.
