The Property

The apartment Edelweiss is facing southwest and offers fascinating views over Zermatt and the surrounding nature. The three bedrooms are equipped with a private bath, TV, safe deposit box and balcony. The living room features a TV, including Apple TV, Blu-ray player and a spacious balcony facing south. There is also a fully equipped open-plan kitchen.

In the apartment, guests will find an iPad that works as an electronic concierge and provides all necessary information about our services. The apartment Edelweiss is available twice, one first floor and one second floor unit.

The luxury chalet LA VUE offers six first-class holiday apartments with hotel service. The apartments, ranging from 90m² to 300m² can accommodate up to 10 persons. Contemporary architecture meets larch and dark stone contrasts the exciting use of glass. Alpine lifestyle featured at its best.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the apartment for up to 6 guests and is offered on a bed and breakfast basis with daily breakfast, daily cleaning, and use of the La Vue spa and facilities.

Location

Apartment Edelweiss is one of several luxury apartments in Zermatt located within the La Vue residence, perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the centre of town, and accessed via an underground elevator.

From the apartment, you are 1 km away from the Matterhorn Express gondola, which takes you up the Klein Matterhorn area of the Matterhorn Ski Paradise. This gondola can be reached in a 15-minute walk, or just a couple of minutes by electro-taxi or bus. The property is located a similar distance from your other main access points to the ski area, the Sunnegga funicular and the Gornergrat mountain railway.

The private underground elevator takes you from the elevated apartment's location down to the street level, from which you are just a couple of minutes walk to the top of the Bahnhofstrasse. This is the main high street running through the centre of town, along which you will find Zermatt's wide variety of gourmet restaurants, popular bars, and a mix of both luxury and souvenir shops.
