The Property

Dufourspitz Lodge in Zermatt is a modern luxury chalet-apartment for 10 guests, a stunning property with an incredible shared wellness space with a swimming pool, a rarity for luxury accommodation in Zermatt. Perfect for families, friends, and corporate groups, this spacious property also features five double/twin bedrooms, alongside sublime views of the Matterhorn.

The uppermost of Dufourspitz Lodge's four floors plays host to the property's main living space, a contemporary open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area that benefits from high, vaulted ceilings. Sleek wooden interiors suggest an alpine motif to this space, whilst chic furnishings provide a distinctly luxurious flair. Designer lounge seating congregates around a feature fireplace, which spreads it warmths to all areas of the living space, including the 12-seater dining table and the smart, fully-equipped kitchen. Sizeable windows flood this floor with natural light, framing picture-perfect Matterhorn views, which can also be enjoyed from the generous balcony that extends off this floor.

Dufourspitz Lodge features its own private cinema room, a secondary lounge space for you and your group to relax, unwind, and enjoy time together, perhaps with a movie marathon on the big screen.

There are five double bedrooms spread between the lower three floors of Dufourspitz Lodge. All of these can also be taken as twin rooms, making the property a great set-up for a variety of different groups of up to 10 guests. The bedrooms are snug, cosy retreats, decorated with neutral tones, plush beds, and soft carpeting. Each of these bedrooms is accompanied by either an en-suite bathroom, or a private shower room situated across the landing.

A major highlight of staying at Dufourspitz Lodge in Zermatt is the fabulous shared spa area in the building's basement. The key feature here is the indoor swimming pool with swim jets, a feature seldom-found in the luxurious mountain resort of Zermatt. In addition to this swimming pool and relaxation area, you can also treat yourself to rejuvenating sessions in the sauna and steam room, indulge in a therapeutic massage treatment in the massage room, or keep yourself in your best shape for the slopes in the small fitness room. There's even an outdoor Jacuzzi to round off the ultimate spa session.

Dufourspitz Lodge benefits from elevator access to all its floors. The lodge building has a communal entrance area with an office space available for private rental, a ski room with boot warmers, and lobby lounge area with fireplace.

For larger groups, Dufourspitz Lodge can be taken alongside any of the other properties within its building. This includes Lyskamm Lodge (sleeps 8+1), Horu Lodge (sleeps 8), and Tête Blanche Lodge (sleeps 4+1). The building also contains two smaller one-bedroom apartments, El Alamein Suite (sleeps 2+1), & Gerwetsch Suite (sleeps 2).

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the apartment for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with meet and greet at Zermatt station and transport to the chalet.
