The Property
Penthouse Weissmatten in Zermatt is a modern-luxe penthouse apartment close to the resort centre, accommodating 6 guests across 3 en-suite bedrooms. The penthouse apartment in Zermatt is a great option for a smaller group of guests looking to be within easy access to the ski area and resort amenities.
Upon entering, a beautifully decorated open-plan living space greets guests. Double-height, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams aid in creating a spacious feel to the convivial space. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light to seep into the build, which reflects off the blond, larch wood that decorates the interior space. Paired with the crisp white walls and contemporary furnishings, this creates a bright, warm and homely feel. Comfortable sofas invite guests to rest their legs after a long day out on the slopes, where you can take a moment to warm up and share stories of your adventures of the day beside the central fireplace. The sofas are arranged in a way to allow for the Matterhorn to peek through behind the TV area. A fully fitted, open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining area allows for guests to stay connected as they await their family meal. A balcony is accessible from the living space, with an outdoor seating area the perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine.
Accommodating 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms, Penthouse Weissmatten is designed with smaller groups of family and friends in mind. The bedrooms are similar in concept to the rest of the apartment, where plush bedding and modern furniture pair with the blond wood interior to create a sleek and stylish area for guests to rest and recharge. Skylight windows on the vaulted ceilings bring a warm morning glow to start your day on a high note. Two of the double bedrooms also function as Austrian twin rooms. All bedrooms are fitted with en-suite facilities, with the master suite having both a bathtub and shower, while the remainder of the rooms feature showers.
Penthouse Weissmatten can be accessed via an elevator. There are laundry facilities for guest use, and a shared ski room within the apartment building.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the property for up to 6 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with in-resort electro-taxi on arrival & departure.

Location
Penthouse Weissmatten lies in the heart of Zermatt, in a location that offers both convenience and serenity, within a short walking distance to both the centre of the village and the ski lifts.
The penthouse is a 10-minute stroll to the Matterhorn Express gondola, or a few minutes drive via electro-taxi or bus. This is your main gateway into the Matterhorn Ski Paradise ski area. You are also only a 6-minute walk from one of the stops for the Gornergrat mountain railway, Legendär-Zermat, for a scenic ride to the top of the Gornergrat area of the resort.
A selection of bars and restaurants are within a 1-minute walk from the apartment, whilst a wider variety can be found along the central high street, the Bahnhofstrasse, which can be reached in 5-minutes walking time. In the centre, guests will find fine dining restaurants, lively bars, museums, historical buildings, and plenty of souvenir and boutique shops.
