The Property
Apartment Nabucco is a sophisticated, yet homely, 4-bedroom apartment for up to 8 guests in the centre of Zermatt. The apartment occupies the first floor of a building and spreads out across 174m² of space.
Mixing a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, Apartment Nabucco has a spacious open-plan living area for guests to feel at home in. Settle in on the comfortable sofas and chairs while you warm yourself besides the feature gas fireplace. Evening meals can be enjoyed on the practical dining table with decorative hanging light feature, while further seating can be found at the breakfast bar attached to the end of the sleek fitted kitchen. A large south-facing balcony offers up a picturesque view of Zermatt with the Matterhorn looming large in the background.
There are four well-sized and smartly furnished bedrooms available for guests to choose from in Apartment Nabucco. All of these come with super king-size double beds, with two of these having the option to be made up as twin rooms instead. The two double bedrooms come with an en-suite or private bath or shower room, with the other two twin/double bedrooms sharing a shower room. Additionally, two of the bedrooms have balcony or patio access with stunning views of the Matterhorn.
Guests staying at Apartment Nabucco have access to private laundry facilities and also a ski room with heated boot racks for storage of equipment. Additionally, while on the first floor of the building, the apartment has elevator access via a step-free entrance.
For those guests looking for some rest and relaxation after a long day in the mountains, there is nothing better than to make use of the amazing shared wellness facilities. You will be spoilt for choice between the sauna, steam room, comfortable relaxation areas and luxurious whirlpool baths.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the apartment on a self-catered basis with use of the shared spa facilities and a complimentary e-taxi upon your arrival in the village to your accommodation.
Location
Apartment Nabucco is located on a quiet street on the opposite side of the river to the centre of Zermatt, allowing guests a tranquil stay while still being within easy reach of the resort amenities.
The apartment is well-situated for skiing, with the option to start your day at any of Zermatt's main ski lifts. The Sunnegga funicular is an easy 8-minute walk from the property, while the bottom station of the Gornergrat railway is a bit further along, around 10-minute walk. It is a 15-minute walk to the Klein Matterhorn Express gondola, which provides you access up towards the glacier skiing at the highest point of Zermatt's ski area. You can also use electro-taxis or electro-buses to navigate the resort, with a bus stop just 4-minutes from the apartment.
Apartment Nabucco sits around an 8-minute walk away from the Bahnhofstrasse, the main high street running through the centre of town. In the centre of Zermatt you will find a wide variety of amenities, including gourmet restaurants, a mix of souvenir shops and luxury boutiques, as well as cocktail and wine bars and lively après ski pubs.
