The rooms are of a generous size, ranging from 20m² to the 80m² Sky & Stars Suite. The rooms have a striking style, utilising sharp design, crafted wood, glass features, dazzling chandeliers and a mix of plush and classical furnishings to great effect. All rooms enjoy a sofa seating or lounge area, with many including impressive views of the iconic Matterhorn. The Backstage Hotel features a delightful spa area, themed on the creation story from the Book of Genesis. There are saunas, steam rooms, a relaxing hot tub, aromatherapy and relaxation rooms, all focused on a different day in the steps of creation, offering a heavenly way to unwind. The Backstage Hotel features some wonderful spaces for both dining and entertainment. The eye-catching design of Heinz Julen is on show to full effect at the hotel's Michelin Star restaurant, After Seven. More delicious food can be enjoyed in the chic Diner's Club, while there is both a stylish lounge bar and a nightclub, perfect for celebrations. The hotel's terrace courtyard offers the perfect space to chill after a busy day on the slopes of Zermatt's ski area, where you can marvel at the amazing mountain views that surround this resort, including that of the Matterhorn.
The hotel also features Zermatt's cinema and an art gallery, making the hotel a vibrant hub for cultural appreciation. The cinema can be adeptly transformed into a conference room, using state-of-the-art technology, this is a fantastic venue for hosting and corporate retreats in Zermatt.

Location
The Backstage Hotel is a luxury hotel in Zermatt with a prime location in the very centre of the resort.
For skiing purposes, the hotel is located a 4-minute walk from the Gornergrat Railway and 6 minutes from the Sunnegga funicular. The other main entry point to the Matterhorn is the Klein Matterhorn Express gondola. Found 1km from the hotel, this is only a couple of minutes journey in an electro-taxi. Alternatively, you can utilise the resort's electric bus service, with the nearest stop just 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
The Backstage Hotel couldn't be better located for exploring the luxurious resort of Zermatt. There are stylish cafés, bars, restaurants and shops on the hotel's doorstep, with it being conveniently located just 50m off the main Bahnhofstrasse road that runs through the heart of resort. It is also less than 5 minutes walk from the train station.
