The Property

Villa Butterfly in Chamonix is an architectural masterpiece, dating all the way back to the Belle Époque period. Unique in its design, the property was originally constructed in the shape of an arch to protect it from avalanches, which now houses a contrasting modern interior with contemporary living spaces and high-end amenities. Accommodating for 10-16 guests across its six bedrooms, this luxury ski chalet in the Chamonix Valley is well-suited to large family groups.

Villa Butterfly blends its classical aesthetic with modern elements in an open-plan design, allowing for a convivial space where guests can gather after a long day on the slopes. The chalet's living area features plenty of seating areas drenched in sunlight, with sloped floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for an abundance of natural light to flood in and illuminate the space, as well as frame the Mont Blanc massif. Multiple lounging areas are dotted around the chalet, with plush sofas that invite guests to rest their legs after a long day on the slopes. A sun-kissed veranda offers the perfect place to unwind in the afternoon, with a majestic view of the mountains as your backdrop. The fireplace works towards keeping guests in Villa Butterfly toasty after a long day out in the Chamonix ski area. The chalet comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, along with a separate service kitchen, and several casual dining areas to enjoy your mealtimes. A balcony wraps around the living floor, while the chalet also enjoys its own garden space.

The property houses impressive spa facilities to keep guests in top form for the slopes. A post-ski rejuvenation session in the chalet's sauna or outdoor Nordic hot tub is a welcome treat for guests after a long day of exploring Chamonix. A gym is also on hand, outside the sauna, ideal for any after ski workouts.

Villa Butterfly's very own home cinema room will bring magical moments for the family, where you can set up a movie night to end the day on a high note. A separate library room offers guests a quiet retreat from the energetic living area, where you can escape to the luscious sofas and catch up on some quiet reading. A second fireplace heats the library, adding to the cosy atmosphere of the room. The chalet also features table football for some additional entertainment.

Villa Butterfly can accommodate up to 16 guests across 6 bedrooms. The bedrooms contain individual highlights to give them a unique feel with vibrant colours and stylish interior decor. The 5 spacious double bedroom suites all contain en-suite bathrooms while a separate bathroom is available for the children's bunk bedroom, which accommodates 6 guests.

The chalet has garage parking along with an EV charging point.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 16 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with housekeeping every other day.

The chalet is also available with a relaxed, buffet-style catering service for 10 guests and includes daily housekeeping. Smaller group discounts or additional guest charges will apply.
