The Property
Chalet Grand Coeur in Châtel is situated in an idyllic spot with gorgeous views and is incredibly located for guests wishing to ski, opposite the Linga lifts. Sleeping 10 guests across 5 beautiful bedrooms, and featuring an outdoor hot tub, this 200m² property is ideal for family or friends looking for a traditional home for their trip to the French Alps.
You are welcomed on the chalet's first floor by a large open-plan living space, connecting a large, fully-fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting room. The chalet keeps to a traditional Alpine style in design, flaunting an interior built from light wood. A selection of leather sofas and comfy armchairs allows guests ample space to kick their feet up and relax after a long day on the slopes. The authentic lounge fireplace ensures guests stay warm during their relaxation time. Guests may choose to indulge in an après-ski glass of wine by the fire as they share stories of their adventures from the day, or sit by the dining table and partake in an apéritif as they await the culinary masterpiece the group's appointed chef is working on in the kitchen. Allow the scents to waft through, really building up an appetite for the group. A large balcony is accessible on this floor, offering guests a more intimate viewing platform of the Abondance Valley. On a sunny morning, guests may decide to start the day with a coffee at the table out on the balcony.
To make the most of your evenings at Chalet Grand Coeur, guests may choose to enjoy an indulgent soak in the chalet's outdoor hot tub, located on the property's terrace. Alternatively, a separate TV room allows for guests to enjoy a quiet escape, where you can lounge on the bean bags with a select group and catch up on a favourite show.
Chalet Grand Coeur sleeps 10 comfortably across five en-suite double bedrooms. Light wood interiors, traditional decor, and soft beds turn these bedrooms into charming alpine suites. All bedrooms can be configured as either twins or doubles, as best suits your party. The two front-facing bedrooms on the top floor have balconies, allowing for a private viewing space for guests to enjoy the valley and picturesque views of Châtel.
For added convenience, a ski room with boot warmers is available for guest use, as well as laundry facilities. Outdoor parking is also available with space for up to 4 cars.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis only.

Location
Chalet Grand Coeur is fantastically located opposite the Linga ski lifts in the village of Châtel.
The nearest ski lifts from the chalet are those at Linga, just 9-minutes walk or 3-minutes drive away. Using a combination of the Linga and L'Echo Alpin chairlifts, you can head over towards Pré La Joux and then deeper into the Portes du Soleil, towards Lindarets and Avoriaz. Alternatively, ski down from the Linga chairlift to the Gabelou chairlift and you can connect to the local skiing around Châtel.
For a selection of restaurants, bars, and local shops, Châtel village centre is only 5-minutes drive away. There are also restaurants, bars, and some ski shops around the Linga lifts, while a bus stop 2-minutes from the chalet can help you more easily travel around the resort.

From the moment you book to the moment you leave, the pre-arrival and in-resort concierge team will be on hand to look after you. Whether that be recommending and booking the best places for lunch, arranging the best ski instructors or booking your airport transfers on your behalf, everything will be taken care of. That leaves you to enjoy your stay and experience this amazing resort and ski area.
When taken on a self-catered basis, you will also receive a bottle of champagne on arrival, allowing you to begin your holiday celebrations as soon as you step into the chalet. As well as that, all the holiday essentials that are needed will be provided. Bed linen, towels, toiletries and cupboard essentials are all included.
However, if you are looking for a more enhanced experience during your luxury ski holiday, then you can choose between the relaxed catered package.
The relaxed catering option is perfect for groups who want freedom in their holiday but are also looking for a touch of luxury. This includes meal deliveries, where a sumptuous two course meal will be delivered to your doorstep on three separate nights. On top of this, for one night, a delicious dinner will be cooked by a private chef, for some fine luxury alpine dining. There will also be 3 morning visits (3 hours each), where chalet cleaning will occur to keep the property a high standard (a mid week linen change is also available at an extra £40 per person). Should you need any additional supplies they will stock your fridge for your arrival (Groceries and wine charged separately). A mid-week top up can be arranged for £100.
With the relaxed catering option, groups can also enjoy stress-free days on the slopes by taking full advantage of the in-resort driver service (8-seater minivan) that is available throughout the day and will take you to and from the slopes each day, giving you more time on the mountain. Please note, the service requires pre-booking, and for larger groups, you can request an additional minivan at £400 for the full stay or £35 for individual trips.
