The Property

The uniquely-named Lord of Snow is a luxury ski in ski out chalet in Courchevel 1850, commanding an impressive 1,237m² of interior space that houses spacious living and spa areas, as well as seven bedrooms sleeping up to 14 guests. From its pristine modern alpine design to its prestigious location to its mammoth swimming pool, this fully-staffed chalet ticks all the boxes.

The top floor of the chalet's six levels is home to the open-plan living spaces. The airy interiors feature tall, vaulted ceilings and a clean, sharp alpine design of light woods, which contrasts pleasantly with modern furnishings of vibrant primary colours. Traditional-style artwork and decorations then imbue an authentic quality to this luxury modern chalet. Two spacious lounge areas stretch the length of the chalet's top floor in an open-plan space, one of which benefits from a stylish central electric steam fireplace. On the other side of the fireplace, a spacious dining room can host all 14 guests for your delicious evening meals. Large balconies extend from either end of the top floor, where guests can enjoy picturesque views over the tops of chalets, up the mountains, across the slopes, and down the valley.

Lord of Snow is home to a lavish spa area in its basement, a private cocoon of tranquility with an exceptional assortment of facilities. The highlight is undoubtedly the heated indoor swimming pool at the heart of this serene wellness space, which is joined by a soothing sunken hot tub. There is also a roomy sauna and Hammam, while guests can also be treated to a number of massage and beauty therapies, either in the massage room or the chalet's hair and beauty salon. The chalet also features a well-equipped gym on this level, as well as a bar in the spa area.

After a spa session, Lord of Snow invites its guests to unwind with several additional relaxing spaces. Sink into the plush Mongolian goatskin throws of the chalet's TV lounge, or marvel at the fascinating decor that aligns the shelves of the wine cave. Between the wine cave and TV lounge, the chalet also hosts a billiards room.

There are seven luxurious bedrooms to Lord of Snow, with the chalet having the capacity to sleep up to 14 guests maximum. While the bedrooms interiors all feature a similarly refined wooden style, a unique collection of traditionally patterned furnishings, rugs, decorations and fascinating artwork all provide a characterful, individual quality to each comfortable, airy suite. There are two Master suites with private balconies, and four further double rooms, one of which, with its shower room, has been specially adapted for people with disabilities. The children's bunk room features four charming bunk beds and can interconnect to one of the double bedrooms on this floor, making a perfect family suite.

Lord of Snow has elevator access between its floors. There is a ski room with boot warmers, glove dryers, and lockers, laundry facilities, and garage parking for up to 3 vehicles.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests with B&B board basis including daily housekeeping and in-resort driver service. Food and drink are charged in addition, at cost price plus the local applicable VAT.
