Nestled in a private location, surrounded by snow-topped trees and commanding valley views, Ferme de Moudon presents a delightful chocolate-box setting for 10–12 guests to enjoy a luxury ski holiday in the Portes du Soleil. As a renovated 18th century farmhouse, this magical six-bedroom property effortlessly blends its authentic wooden charm with a selection of modern wellness facilities, to offer a truly relaxing alpine retreat for groups of families, friends and corporate ski getaways.
Ferme de Moudon has a total of four floors that showcase a traditional and elegant design, all wrapped up in a homely atmosphere. Guests enter the property through the main living floor, complete with a sofa lounge, dining and kitchen spaces. Relax and warm next to the prominent wood-burning fireplace, underneath exposed wooden beams and high ceilings, whilst catching up on the day's ski activities. For those who wish to unwind in the fresh alpine air, step out through the glass doors and enjoy the dusted treetop views from an extensive balcony. Back inside, the large banquet table, found in the centre of this floor, awaits homemade mealtimes together. An open, fully-equipped kitchen sits adjacent. Featuring a breakfast bar and stools, there's plenty of space for guests to prepare meals in a social environment.
After a day's skiing in Les Gets and Morzine, Ferme de Moudon's inviting spa facilities welcome long afternoons of relaxation. Its vast terrace area has an outdoor swimming pool (on request), hot tub, fire pit and loungers - the perfect place to rejuvenate aching bodies surrounded by a magical winter wonderland setting. There's also a sauna and massage room found inside the property to complete your relaxation session.
For entertainment, Ferme de Moudon's ground floor serves as the perfect self-contained hideaway. Ideal for teens or a family game evening, this space features a cosy TV snug corner, billiards table and kitchenette area, that's sure to be enjoyed by all ages.
In total, Ferme de Moudon can accommodate 10–12 guests, with bedrooms split between all four floors of the chalet. Decorated with homely furnishings and artwork that seamlessly integrates with the wooden cladded walls and ceilings, you're sure to settle into a pleasant night's rest. A master bedroom suite lies on the chalet's top floor, with enchanting views to wake up to each morning. Across the hallway, there is a twin bedroom, that's ideally suited for children, and an office nook on the landing for those needing a quiet moment to catch up on missed work. The four remaining doubles all benefit from en-suite amenities and can be arranged into twin beds for flexible sleeping options. On request, it may also be possible to add 2 further single beds to the twin room on the first floor.
For convenience, guests have access to ski lockers with boot warmers and outdoor parking at Ferme de Moudon.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for 10 adults and 2 children on a self-catered basis with mid-week housekeeping and towel changes.
The chalet is also offered on a bed and breakfast basis with daily continental breakfast, daily housekeeping, and in-resort driver service.
