Lodge Mathieu's interiors blend an essence of classic and contemporary style together, complete with open-plan living, luxury furnishings and unique artwork. A multitude of windows, in addition to intricate lighting hanging above the dining table, help to establish a cosy, chic atmosphere for your after-ski relaxation. Light wooden interiors also add to the ambience of this space. The plump sofa and armchairs offer a moment to rest and enjoy the snow flurries falling outside, whilst warming to the fireplace. In the evening, the dining table allows for the whole group to sit together comfortably, amongst a mix of sumptuous chairs and a vibrant, wrap-around bench. The fully-equipped kitchen, at the back of this room, allows dinner preparations to get underway behind glass windows, allowing your nominated cook to still be in view of the living room's activities.
Opening out from the sliding glass doors in the open-plan living room, guests will find a large 206m² garden area. Suitable for little ones playing in the snow or for sipping a chilled après drink, there is plenty of space for the whole group to enjoy outdoor time together.
For relaxation, guests staying at Lodge Mathieu will not need to look any further than the apartment building's shared relaxation area. Soothe any tired ski muscles in the Hammam, ideal for your rest and recovery needs. A separate fitness room presents a spot for those looking to keep up with their training programme, even after a tough ski session on the slopes.
In total, Lodge Mathieu comfortably accommodates 6 guests across its 3 double bedrooms, with one room also suitable to be made as a twin room. Each bedroom presents a generous space, decorated in a modern and sleek design, whilst maintaining the classic, contemporary style found throughout the rest of Lodge Mathieu's interiors - perfect for a well-deserved night's rest after a day of skiing in Megève. In addition, all bedrooms also benefit from en-suites.
There is a parking space, on the building's basement floor, ideal for any guests driving to the Alps for their luxury ski holiday. Guests also have access to a shared ski room.
The Kneiss residence building offers a collection of luxury ski properties which can be booked alongside one another. Suitable for larger groups, Lodge Camille, Lodge Chakra, Lodge du Clocher, Lodge Mathieu and Lodge Zebra are all available to best suit your group's requirements. Please enquire.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the lodge apartment for up to 6 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis to include cleaning every two days.

Location
Lodge Mathieu is positioned in an enviable location in the very heart of Megève's town centre. The Chamois cable car is just a 2-minute walk away from the property, for access to the Rochebrune pistes and up towards the Mont d'Arbois. There is skiing for all abilities and the ski school meeting point at the top of the Chamois to provide easy access for all abilities and family groups.
Megève's pedestrianised resort centre and Place du Village is located just 150 metres away from Lodge Mathieu. Here, guests will be treated to a selection of designer shops, as well as a number of the best bars and restaurants in Megève. This property really allows you to have everything on your very doorstep!

Throughout your stay, housekeeping is on hand, every 2 days, to keep your property clean and tidy, perfect on return from a day of skiing in Megève. Snow clearing, conducted by the chalet team, makes sure the chalet is easily accessible at all times. An end of stay clean is also included.
The usual bed linen, towels, eco-responsible toiletries, slippers and ethanol fire package are provided too. Fresh flowers help to bring a touch of home comfort to your ski holiday in the French Alps.
Please note, this property also incurs an additional inventory fee, whereby inventory checks are conducted by a third-party company prior to arrival and after your departure from the chalet. These further help to ensure that a high-quality standard is maintained for the property, throughout the season, and that a fair assessment is undertaken, a benefit to both you and the chalet's operator.
