The Property
Chalet Iona is a true alpine retreat in the small hamlet of Le Villard, outside Les Allues, down the valley from Méribel. A stunning, traditional chalet, the property comprises the main Chalet Iona and the smaller, 80m² Chalet India, offering groups of 10-15 guests a relaxing hideaway in the mountains, complete with wonderful views and serene spa facilities.
In the main property, Chalet Iona, you will discover two floors dedicated to living areas. The top floor plays host to a magnificent open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Sat beneath cathedral-like vaulted wood ceilings, with a majestic glass facade that frames gorgeous, uninterrupted mountain views, this space will truly astonish you. A stylish, circular, suspended fireplace sits central to the room, surrounded by vibrant and comfortable armchairs, while a grand dining table spans the width of the floor alongside the sizeable windows, making the most of the pretty views during breakfast time. On the floor below, Chalet Iona has a sophisticated sitting room, where wood-panelled interiors and brown leather seating bring to mind a refined atmosphere of venerable luxury. Balconies extend off both levels, inviting you to enjoy the chalet's secluded location and further admire the glorious panoramic views.
For the evening's entertainment, immerse yourself in the welcoming bubbles of the outdoor hot tub, to soothe and rejuvenate any aching muscles after a hard day's skiing. Alternatively, head inside to the chalet's sauna to finish your recovery session.
At the end of the night, watch the latest blockbuster movie under blankets in the TV snug, the perfect way to cap off a peaceful stay in the mountains before bedtime.
Chalet Iona is made up of the main chalet building and Chalet India. There are five bedrooms in the main chalet, sleeping 10-12 guests. The bedrooms are spacious, with a charming quality that blends alpine tradition with sophisticated comfort. Of the five double en-suite bedrooms, one of these rooms has an additional set of bunk beds, for the ideal family suite. The adjoining Chalet India offers a space for three additional guests, with an additional open-plan living space with fireplace and mezzanine double room with single bed. It's the perfect spot for a couple or family who want some additional privacy.
The chalet also has outdoor parking, laundry facilities, and a ski room with boot warmers.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 adult guests and includes full gourmet catering for 5 nights, open bar and in-resort driver service. Up to five extra guests can be accommodated on request. Empty bed and child discounts will apply, please enquire for details.
