This beautiful, traditional chalet, situated in its own secluded orchards, offers groups a relaxing retreat to an exclusive, remote location. Compromising of 2 buildings, the main chalet and smaller adjacent Chalet India, Chalet Iona presents the perfect quiet ski holiday for large groups of friends or extended family!
You will be welcomed into the elegant, open-plan living/dining area, found on the top floor of this chalet. Relax under the high-ceiling, exposed wooden beams, creating ample space for the whole group to be entertained. After a long day on the slopes, huddle around the suspended wood-burning fireplace, to warm your toes whilst catching up over the day's activities. If the heat of the fire ever becomes too much, venture out onto the balcony's terrace area to capture a closer look at the snowy mountain regions surrounding you.
In the evening, enjoy the speciality prepared by your private chef, comfortably seated on the hand-made oak dining table. In the perfect window position, you will be able to indulge on the evening's delicacy in front of the breath-taking panoramic views of the picturesque valley and villages. If any guest wishes to test out their own culinary skills in their chef's absence, the modern open kitchen offers a place to do so. The breakfast bar, adjacent to the kitchen, provides the perfect start to a day's skiing.
For the evening's entertainment, immerse yourself in the welcoming bubbles of the outdoor hot tub, to soothe and rejuvenate any aching muscles after a hard day's skiing. Alternatively, head inside to the chalet's sauna to finish your recovery session.
At the end of the night, watch the latest blockbuster movie under blankets in the TV snug - the perfect way to end the day ready for the same tomorrow!
Chalet Iona is made up of the main chalet building and Chalet India. The main chalet is compromised of three master rooms and two further doubles; one of the master bedrooms also has a set of bunk beds, suitable for sleeping adults or children, ideally used as a family suite. Chalet India sleeps up to 3 guests, in a king-size double mezzanine bedroom and single bed, presenting a private space suitable for extended family members.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests, to include full gourmet catering for 5 nights with 1 night of more relaxed dining, open bar and in-resort driver service. Up to five extra guests can be accommodated on request. Empty bed and child discounts will apply.
Please note this chalet can also be taken on a Self-catered basis. Self-catered rates include daily housekeeping, an in resort driver service and complimentary soft drinks.
Please Note: Chalet Iona is currently undergoing renovation work on its lower ground floor, to update the bathrooms and also create a master double bedroom with a set of bunk beds. This will replace the current bedrooms labelled 3 and 5 on the floorplans. Our gallery and floorplans will be updated once work has been complete.
Chalet Iona is located in the peaceful hamlet of Le Villard. Make use of the private minibus service available to you during your stay, to access the nearest Olympie Telecabine at Les Allues, only an 8-10 minute drive away.
The centre of Méribel is also a 15-20 minute drive away, for you to enjoy the range of bars and restaurants on your chef's night off.

From having the chalet looking its best for your arrival, daily cleaning and a dedicated driver service to wonderfully hosted and prepared meals. The team are there to look after your every need.
The cuisine offered is a huge part of what sets a holiday with this chalet apart from the rest. Eating at the chalet is a memorable experience, akin to eating in a top quality restaurant. It really is some of the best cooking you will experience anywhere in the Alps. Each day starts with a good breakfast of fruit juices, coffee, a choice of teas, yoghurts, cereals and porridge with fresh milk, eggs, jambon cru, cheeses, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams. On your return from skiing, fresh homemade cakes and biscuits await you in the sitting room. Dinner is the pièce de résistance. On your first evening you are welcomed by a glass of champagne, and then you can enjoy an exceptional four-course meal, rounded off with real coffee, a glass of Pinot and home-made truffles. You will be able to relive the luxury of the gourmet dining experience five nights of your week stay, with one night offering a more relaxed family style meal by the choice of the guests, such as a raclette or fondue. There's also carefully selected wines, unlimited champagne and a full complimentary bar of beer, wine, selected spirits and mixers.
To help you navigate the resort and get to and from the slopes, they operate a fleet of luxury vehicles which will take you where you need in resort. A dedicated driver and 8-seater minivan will ensure you have a reliable morning and afternoon pick up (8.30-11am & after 5.30pm). There is an on-call service through the rest of the day (11am-5.30pm) and continues after dinner until midnight.
Before and during your stay there is a dedicated concierge service to help you make any extra arrangements needed such as ski hire, lift passes, ski lessons, childcare, spa treatments or plans for special occasions.
