The Property
Chalet L'Orchidée in Méribel is a 300m² luxury chalet, a light and airy alpine home with space for up to 8 adults and 4 children, perfect for family ski holidays to the Three Valleys. Situated in the quieter hamlet of Méribel Raffort, while still being in easy reach to the nearest gondola and ski slopes, this luxury chalet with hot tub is a great option for eager ski groups who enjoy their peace and privacy.
In Chalet L'Orchidée's main living spaces, the property houses chic furnishings of an understated luxury in an open-plan, contemporary alpine design. The lounge area sits at the heart of the chalet, where guests have the option of relaxing on comfortable sofas, stylish chairs, or the window booth seating, all of which congregate around an elegant burnished metal fireplace. The dining area sits adjacent to the lounge, beneath an extra high slanting ceiling, graced with natural light from the surrounding picture windows. The dining table seats 8, with a further four seats found along the breakfast bar, adjoining the sizeable, fully-equipped kitchen area.
Off the main living area of Chalet L'Orchidée, you have access to an extensive balcony, spanning the width of the chalet. As well as providing a serene space to enjoy the fresh mountain air and pleasant views of mountain forest rising up before you, the balcony hosts the chalet's outdoor hot tub. This soothing feature is a fantastic way to relieve aches and pains picked up from a day of skiing in Méribel.
A few additional snug lounge areas across Chalet L'Orchidée offer alternative space for your group to unwind back at the property. Tucked away off the main lounge is a cosy TV snug, perfect for sociable movie nights, while another lounge downstairs doubles as a games area, featuring table football for your enjoyment.
Split between Chalet L'Orchidée's second and ground floor levels, you will discover five bedrooms that can welcome groups of up to 8 adults and 4 children. An ideal family chalet, the four double bedrooms and children's bunk room ape the style of the rest of the chalet, complete with comfortable beds and authentic wood interiors. For your convenience, all bedrooms have private en-suite facilities, and all double rooms can be taken as twin rooms instead. There are two bedrooms with private balcony access.
Chalet L'Orchidée has a ski room with boot warmers, laundry facilities, and one outdoor parking space.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change. When taken on a self catered basis, the chalet also includes a shared shuttle service.
Location
Chalet L'Orchidée occupies a tranquil location within the Raffort hamlet of Méribel.
The chalet is well-located for skiing, only 400m from the station in Raffort for the Olympe Gondola. This gondola will take you up the valley to La Chaudanne, Méribel's central lift hub and the main meeting point for ski schools. You can ski back to the hamlet along the blue Raffort piste. With good snow conditions, it is possible to cut off this run and ski back to the chalet via a short off-piste section.
A bus stop is within a 3-4 minute walk of the chalet, which will provide you easy access up to the centre of Méribel. The centre is about 7-minutes drive away, featuring plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars to explore.

With a range of service levels to suit your needs, including a number of additional add-ons, you can tailor your holiday how you see fit, giving you the time to make the most of exploring the resort and spending time together in your luxury alpine home for the duration of your stay.
Available for a self catered luxury ski holiday, you can expect daily housekeeping services to keep the luxury property in spotless condition all week. The property will all be set up ready for the week ahead with the finest linen and towels and luxury bathroom products, and towels will be changed halfway through the week. When taken on a self catered basis, this luxury chalet also comes with the use of a shared shuttle service. Operating between the hours of 8am-11am and 3pm-6pm, the service is on hand for drop-off to and pick-up from the slopes and chalet only.
The concierge service is there to help organise activities, restaurant bookings both on the mountain and in resort, setting you up for the week with all your ski essentials, and generally helping organise your holiday to be as hassle-free and straightforward as possible. Additional services can be added for extra cost, including lunch in the chalet (subject to availability), grocery delivery, spa and massage treatments, and more.
