The Property
Chalet Tomkins is a stylish and sociable home, resplendent in its design and ideal for larger groups. This chalet can sleep up to 12 guests spread across 6 bedrooms with the option of two additional beds suitable for children.
Lush contemporary furnishings seamlessly blend with the traditional mountain charm of Chalet Tomkins main living space on the chalet's second floor. This sitting room has tall vaulted ceilings and rich comfortable sofas to relax on in front of the stone fireplace. A functional kitchen and a dining room, with a sizeable round table for enjoying your delicious evening meals at, can be found adjacent to this lounge area and these rooms both offer access onto the expansive south-facing sun terrace where guests can bask in the incredible views of the mountains of the Three Valleys. A secondary lounge area, designed as a TV snug, can be located on the ground floor of the chalet.
You will find this a wonderful place to unwind in tranquility and comfort after a hard day skiing. Guests can treat themselves to a dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi on another spacious terrace on the first floor, while on the ground floor you will find both a sauna and a massage room to help ease those aching muscles. A billiards room is also located on this level if you are looking for an evening of entertainment.
Chalet Tomkins has 6 beautifully furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite bath or shower rooms. Five of these bedrooms can be utilised as either a double or twin bedroom to provide guests with maximum flexibility when it comes to sleeping arrangements. The two upstairs bedrooms have their own private balcony if you wish to enjoy the splendid views with a bit more privacy, while there is an option to put day beds in two of the rooms for children. This gives Chalet Tomkins the capacity to sleep up to 12 adults and 2 children.
On the ground floor there is a boot room with separate ski room for storage and a garage with space for two cars. Additional off-road parking is available outside of Chalet Tomkins if required.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 12 adults on a fully catered basis with in resort driver service.
Please enquire for more details about the flexible board basis option with staff services inclusive but food and drinks charged at cost.
For fully catered bookings, receive a €250 discount on any empty beds. €100 discount for children under 16 and under 2's stay for free providing they are in a cot.
Location
Chalet Tomkins is located on the exclusive Route des Chalets in Méribel, good for fast ski access to the skiing around Méribel and the wider Three Valleys area.
A three minute walk up the Route des Chalets takes you to the main piste into town (Doron). This piste is a blue run and takes you right down to the Chaudanne where the main ski lifts and ski schools are found. The piste is accessed just above the fast six-man Adret chairlift linking you into the system without having to go to Chaudanne if you don't wish to. On return, you can leave the piste just below Rond Point where you can find a route through the back of the garden to ski straight back to the chalet. Alternatively, unclip your skis at the Route des Chalets and take a short walk down the road back to the front door.
This chalet is just a few minutes drive to the busy main high street of Méribel Centre and only 8 minutes by car to the main Chaudanne lift area.
