The Lightbowne in Méribel is a luxury chalet experience where guest's comfort and enjoyment is priority. The combination of modern interior design and excellent facilities make this an idyllic escape in the renowned Three Valleys ski area. The chalet features six spacious double bedrooms, accommodating for up to 14 guests, and acts an ideal base for a larger family group or get together with friends.
Set over four floors, The Lightbowne has been created to the highest standard, combining modern chic and traditional alpine heritage. Upon entering, guests will be welcomed into the generous open-plan living area, with large windows to let the natural light stream in. A large corner sofa sits adjacent to a roaring fireplace, where you can relax in comfort. In the evenings, however, the main hub for social activity will be around the large wooden dining table (with seating for 12), where long dinners can be enjoyed with easy flowing conversation and laughter. The kitchen sits at the far end of the room, with a couple of bar stools placed so you can look on to the skilled cooking taking place as you enjoy a glass of wine. To fully admire the incredible panoramic views, you can also exit onto the large outdoor terrace, where snowy slopes, mountain tops and the Olympique gondola set a stunning mountain scene.
Wellness and relaxation are a priority at The Lightbowne, with the lavish spa suite dominating the ground floor of the chalet. Containing both a large sauna and hot tub, the spa suite is perfect for all your rest and recovery needs after a hard day skiing or exploring the resort. In addition, to ensure you fully unwind on your luxury ski holiday, don't hesitate to ask the concierge service to organise an in-chalet massage for you. Post-spa relaxation, the library acts as a quiet sanctuary for anyone wanting a moment to themselves.
In the evening, guests can make their way to one of the boutique bedroom suites, all of which have en-suite bathrooms and four of which have a freestanding bath. All these suites have been designed in their own unique style and theme, giving guests an array of choice. One of the larger suites also contains a snug area with a TV and children's twin bedroom, perfect for a family that desire their own personal space. To add greater flexibility to sleeping arrangements, all the beds except the children's room can be configured into either doubles or single beds, making sure all needs are taken care of.
For additional convenience, The Lightbowne features a spacious ski room with boot warmers, ensuring all your equipment remains dry for your upcoming adventures on the slopes.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered fully catered with selected complimentary drinks and in-resort driver service. Up to two additional people can be accommodated at extra cost. Child discounts may also apply, please enquire.

The Lightbowne is a breathtaking chalet in Méribel, located in the private district of Mussillon. The chalet's location provides a convenient base for guests, being just a short distance from the piste and amenities in the centre of the resort.
La Chaudanne, the main lift hub in Méribel, offering several lift choices that provide easy connections to the abundance of pistes offered within the Three Valleys ski area, is just a 3-minute drive away. In addition, La Chaudanne serves as the meeting point for groups and ski schools.
While you can easily take the driver service to reach town, for those that prefer, the lively centre of Méribel, where you will find a variety of fantastic restaurants, bars and shops, is also just a 12-minute walk away.

Make an EnquiryThe operator of this chalet takes care of your every need to ensure that you have the best ski holiday experience. The concierge team have spent a great deal of time in the chalets and experienced the service first hand, allowing them to be able to guide you through every detail of your stay. Using their expert knowledge of the resort, the concierge team are there to bring your holiday together through organising and creating the best experiences both pre and after arrival.
Staying on a catered basis allows for you to enjoy the ultimate ski chalet experience, making sure you feel indulged and well taken care of throughout. The bespoke dining experiences, crafted by the chalet's private chef, are tailored to you and your group and are provided across 5 days. Expect delightful food throughout your stay, including daily and cooked breakfasts (solely continental options on 2 mornings), daily freshly baked cake or biscuits for afternoon tea and a variety of evening meals from more meze style to delicious 3-course dinners (5 nights). There is the option for earlier children's dinners if required, and the addition of canapés with aperitifs and a cheeseboard ensure a memorable experience for every guest. A champagne reception awaits on your first evening and to complement your food, a selection of beers, house wines and soft drinks are available. Moreover, daily housekeeping and an evening turndown service (on 5 days), a mid-week towel change and soft towels, robes and luxury toiletries are also provided.
For greater accessibility, an in-resort driver service is also available for guests to use, helping you to travel and navigate the resort comfortably. This service operates daily (from 08:00 to 20:00, with an on-call service in the middle of the day from 10:30 to 15:00) to transport guests to and from the ski lifts, as well as around the resort to explore the local bars, restaurants and shops. On the staff's two days off, this service is extended (from 8:00 to 22:30), allowing guests to stay out and make the most of the resort's amenities and atmosphere.
