The Property
Chalet de Soie is a stylish home away from home in the mountains for family ski holidays or trips away with friends. The chalet features five en-suite bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 guests in total.
Chalet de Soie oozes understated luxury, and offers a chic, spacious environment that feels homely and extra special in equal measure. As you enter the property on the middle floor, you are met with an impressive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, flooded with light from the huge sliding doors that provide panoramic views of the mountains. If you can tear yourself away from the plush, cosy sofas for long enough, step out on to the wrap-around deck and enjoy being high amongst the trees as you sip your morning coffee. In the evenings, gather around the log burner for a couple of apéritifs before dinner, as the sun sets across the mountaintops.
This self-catered chalet boasts a well-equipped kitchen and top of the range appliances, including a large wine fridge, double Miele ovens and Le Creuset cookware, sure to make a chef of anyone in your party. Enjoy your evening meal around the fabulous oak dining table, under the impressive alpine chandelier; close enough to enjoy the warmth from the fire and within easy reach of the kitchen for whoever is on duty to top up glasses.
On the terrace is a Canadian cedarwood hot tub. The ideal place to relax those aching muscles and discuss the days best runs.
For any little guests in your party, the children's bunk bedroom on the bottom floor also doubles as a kids TV room with a good selection of films, TV streaming and board games; an idyllic place to escape to for fun and play.
The five bedrooms are divided between the two remaining floors of the chalet. On the top floor, the incredible view from the master en-suite bedroom feels like a very special secret; guests have a unique point of view that almost makes the bedroom feel like it's floating in the clouds. The en-suite feels just as special, with a luxurious bath, walk-in rain head shower and steam room. Next door is an en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed that can be configured as a twin, and on the ground floor are a further two king/twin rooms, each with an en-suite and balcony access. It wouldn't be Chalet de Soie without another piece of magic; younger guests will love the Alice in Wonderland themed bunk room, with solid, handmade oak bunk bed.
For convenience, the chalet offers 4 parking spaces, a ski room with boot warmers and laundry facilities.

Location
Chalet de Soie sits on the sunny side of the valley, just a 10 minute walk (or few minutes drive) from the centre of Morzine. Guests can walk into town via the pedestrianised suspension bridge to benefit from a great selection of local shops, restaurants and bars.
The chalet is located directly on the Morzine bus route, with a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away from the chalet door, providing access to the local ski lifts. The Super Morzine gondola is only 750m away and so just a quick couple of minutes on the shuttle.
