Chalet Apassion is a luxury chalet nestled into the slopes above the medieval village of Samoëns, just an hour's drive from Geneva. Spreading across three floors, the property is characterised by a combination of elegant and luxury features, within a traditional chalet structure. Sleeping up to 10 guests, this property is ideal for groups of friends or family looking for a luxury ski holiday in France.
Upon entering the first floor, guests will be welcomed in the expansive open-plan living and dining area, where floor to ceiling windows fill in the room with natural light. Here, comfortable sofas are perfectly positioned to appreciate the panoramic views across the Giffre valley to the Criou and the village of Samoëns. Take a chance to relax and warm to the fireplace at the end of a busy day skiing in the Grand Massif. Step outside onto the spacious balcony to take in even more the stunning views of the surrounding mountain peaks, while enjoying an alfresco apéritif.
The open plan design offers ample space for guests to enjoy the culinary delights of Chalet Apassion's catering service around the dining table while catching up with one another and planning the following day's skiing and non-skiing activities in Samoëns.
For your post-ski relaxation, Chalet Apassion will have everything you may need to fully unwind during your ski holiday. Choose if to soothe any achy muscles in the wooden sauna or immerse yourself in the outdoor hot-tub, while admiring the snowy landscape of the Grand Massif. For cosy evenings in, head towards the top floor, where a TV lounge can be used as a playroom for the children or a place of tranquillity to get away from it all and read a good book. The lounge also has access to a balcony with stunning views across the Giffre valley.
Chalet Apassion offers five spacious double bedrooms, each individually styled and each with an en-suite bathroom, as well as private or shared access to either a balcony or terrace. All bedrooms can be configured as a double or twin, to match your group's needs. The five rooms have been decorated in a similar style, and feature classic wooden furniture and quality linen and throws, creating a calming space to unwind and enjoy your well-deserved night's rest.
For additional convenience, the chalet also features a ski room with heated boot warmers, which will ensure your ski equipment stays dry for your upcoming days on the slopes.
Prices are per person based on two people sharing a room, including full chalet catering and in-resort driver shuttle service.
On select peak weeks, prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests, including full chalet catering and in-resort driver shuttle service.
Peak weeks include Christmas, New Year and February Half Terms. It is not possible to book the chalet on a room by room basis for these periods.
Chalet Apassion finds itself situated on the edge of Samoëns for a quieter, yet still convenient location. The chalet sits between the Grand Massif Express cable car and Saix gondola in Vercland, both only a 3 minute drive away. Both lifts take you to the main snow front at Samoëns 1600 where you will find the ski school meeting points, nursery slopes and further lift stations to connect you into the wider ski area.
At the end of your ski day, you can either ski down the red or black piste to return to Vercland or use the Grand Massif Express to down ride back into the village. The driver shuttle service is on hand for both your morning and end of ski day shuttles.
Samoëns village centre is similarly only a few minutes drive and offers a nice selection of traditional restaurants, shops, and bars.

Chalet Apassion is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Rob and Vicky. They pride themselves on quality of service, consistently high standards, attention to detail and culinary expertise, all set in luxurious yet comfortable and welcoming surroundings.
During your stay, you will indulge your senses with the aromas of freshly baked cakes and the culinary delights of carefully cooked, gourmet evening meals complimented by a choice of red and white fine wines.
Rob and Vicky will be happy to help organise your airport transfers, ski lessons, ski hire, lift passes, massage treatments or childcare and anything else you might need during your stay. You will be contacted prior to your holiday to discuss your full requirements and to help you make your choices.
The chalet provides all the essentials for looking after children, with cots, high-chairs, stair-gates and car seats all available. If you would like more specific items to be provided during your stay, then let them know as part of the pre-holiday contact service. They will be happy to source nappies, baby food or other items locally, thereby saving you space in your luggage. Charges for these items can be settled in resort.
