The Property

Chalet Serge, an Alpine lodge in Cortina d'Ampezzo where natural materials, modern design, beautiful views and expert wellness facilities combine to form a mountain home that maximises comfort and relaxation. Spread largely across one floor and some attic spaces in a building that is part of the Dolomiti Lodge Alverà hotel, above the hotel restaurant, this home away from home will sleep between 6 and 7 guests in its four bedrooms.

The chalet has been built with lots of natural wood, giving it a breezy mountain lodge style, although contemporary furnishings and a modern design help give Chalet Serge a unique feel unlike the traditional mountain chalets of old. An airy lounge with extra-tall ceilings hosts a plush 15-seater sofa, offering the 7 guests of the chalet plenty of room to relax after a day of skiing. Adjacent to this room you will find the dining and kitchen areas where the chalet's bold style stands out. A spacious dining area with large square table suitable for as many as 14 guests backs onto a state-of-the-art steel and teal kitchen. The lounge and dining areas share a lengthy balcony, where you can relax with a refreshing apéritif and the stunning mountain views of the Dolomites as your company.

Tucked away to the right of the entrance to the chalet, the spa area of Chalet Serge lays waiting to be discovered. Relaxing loungers sit beside the 2x2m Jacuzzi, where soothing hydromassage jets await. There is both a Finnish sauna and Hammam in this wellness area, with a shower to cool off between relaxing sessions.

In a mezzanine space above the lounge, Chalet Serge features a TV lounge, a cosy space with soft carpets, comfy furniture and a big screen to enjoy your favourite movies and TV shows on. There is also a desk up here should anyone need to complete some work.

There are four bedrooms in Chalet Serge, sleeping up to 7 guests. The Master double bedroom suite comes with a sizeable en-suite shower room and shares a balcony with a double/twin bedroom, where stunning views of the Tofane mountains can be admired. A third bedroom, of the double or twin variety, sits in a mezzanine space above its private shower room on the main floor and offers plenty of privacy for guests. There is one final single bedroom, ideal for service staff or adolescents. Each bedroom has its own shower room facilities.

When staying at Chalet Serge, guests are also treated to the use of the spa and facilities of the Dolomiti Alverà Lodge hotel. These include massage and beauty treatments in the wellness area, a dip in the heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool and use of the well-equipped gym facilities. The hotel also comes with a restaurant should they wish to dine there.

There is outdoor parking available to guests of Chalet Serge, as well as a ski room in the hotel in order to store any equipment, although there is also space in the entrance to the chalet that can also be used to store ski gear.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a bed and breakfast basis for up to 7 guests, to include daily housekeeping and in-resort shuttle service.
