The Property
Chalet Ker Praet is a luxury chalet in Verbier with space for up to 16 guests across its eight bedrooms. Featuring living areas with a cosy, traditional charm, stunning views and a great central location, Chalet Ker Praet is perfect for large family and friend groups looking to maximise their enjoyment in resort.
Chalet Ker Praet is spread over four floors, with the main living room occupying most of the first floor. The living room offers up a cosy ambience, with traditional Swiss and alpine furnishings that match the wooden interiors for a conventional mountain vibe. An open fireplace provides pleasing warmth to the room, while a bar at one end provides refreshments, making this the perfect space for socialising at the end of a ski day. Up on the top floor, you will find the dining room, where a long wooden table fit for 16 sits just off the chef's kitchen, providing the ideal setting for fine gourmet dining. Both the dining and living floors of the chalet open onto spacious south-facing balconies, with comfortable seating, warming faux-fur blankets to counter the cold, and tremendous views of the mountains across the village and the valley.
Situated on the ground floor of Chalet Ker Praet, a sauna awaits for a relaxing space to aid rest and recovery after a busy day of skiing in Verbier. For your enjoyment, a TV room on the lower ground floor provides plenty of entertainment for guests staying at the chalet. A TV with games console and streaming services will keep kids and adults alike entertained, while this area can also be used as an office space if need be.
Spread across all four floors of the chalet, Chalet Ker Praet features 8 bright and welcoming bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests. 7 of these bedrooms are twin rooms, with the final bedroom containing a large double bed. The four bedrooms of the ground and first floors all come with en-suite bathrooms, with three having direct access to the chalet's small garden area. The other four bedrooms can be found in two family-style suites with shared bathrooms, one on the top floor and one on the lower ground floor. The lower ground floor's two-bedroom suite is especially exclusive, with a private entrance, small kitchen/dining area and shared bathroom, making this ideal for teens, young adults or small families wanting a little extra privacy from the rest of the group.
Chalet Ker Praet has garage parking for two cars, with further space for up to four vehicles outside the chalet, for anyone looking to drive to Verbier for their luxury ski holiday.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 16 guests, with full gourmet catering (6 nights), open bar and lift shuttle service.
Location
Chalet Ker Praet occupies a great location for skiing and exploring the resort, near the centre of Verbier.
The chalet is just a 3 minute drive from the main Médran lift hub. A similar three minute drive will take you to the Savoleyres chairlift, taking you over to the family friendly La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres ski area, while the Le Rouge and Les Esserts beginner pistes can be reached in 5 minutes by car. These lifts can all be reached in a 10-15 minute walk from the chalet, or you can also find a bus stop 2 minutes up the hill from the chalet at Brunet.
The chalet is located just a 5 minute walk away from Place Centrale, the commercial hub of Verbier, where you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.

Using high-quality local ingredients in a decidedly gourmet way, you will find a mix of traditional Alpine, French and international cuisine. A vast continental breakfast spread is available each day of your trip to start your day right, while an afternoon tea selection of cakes and pastries will be available to you on return from skiing for six days of your stay. On 6 nights of your stay, you will be treated to mouth-watering three-course gourmet dinners with a selection of house wines and an extensive list of further options (at additional cost) for seasoned wine lovers. Special menus have been designed for children, offering a range of balanced, nutritious meals, while the chefs are happy to accommodate for any dietary requirements or other requests, all to create the perfect holiday menu for you.
For guests wanting ease of access to the ski lifts, you have the use of the chalet-to-lift driver's service, in a comfortable VW Caravelle. This service runs you to and from your chalet and the main ski lifts at the start (8am-10am) and end (3pm-5pm) of each ski day.
Please note that Wednesday is the staff day off. The breakfast table will still be laid out with fresh pastries and the staff will be happy to help advise and book restaurants for the evening.
