Chalet Kipnuk is a great chalet for those guests looking to explore Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil ski area, and who want convenience and ease at the heart of their plans. This chalet is built into the side of the mountain, providing panoramic views across the slopes and surrounding mountains. Spanning three floors and 3 bedrooms, Kipnuk can sleep between 6 and 8 guests.
The open-plan living and dining area is located on the middle floor of the chalet. Here there is a central log fireplace surrounded by a cosy sofa and selection of chairs, providing comfort after a day out on the hill. Scenic mountain views are provided from the large windows, where you can watch the sun set or watch over the skiers below. The dining room table offers enough room for the whole family to sit down together whilst enjoying a delicious meal presented to you by your dedicated host.
Leading off from the dining and living area is a balcony where you can step out to enjoy the mountain views.
Kipnuk provides space for up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. Each of the en suite bedrooms enjoys stunning views and can be presented as either a twin or a double. There is one bedroom on the top floor of the property with a private balcony and shower room. On the first floor, there is a second double./twin with en-suite shower room. The last bedroom is also on the first floor and is set up as a double or twin room with a separate area with bunk beds for two children. The room has an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony and so could be ideal for a small family with young children.
Chalet Kipnuk can be booked together with Chalet Ipaka, and Chalet Sakami to accommodate groups of up to 20 people.
Prices are per person and are based on 2 adults sharing a room. The price includes full chalet catering and a complimentary return coach transfer from Geneva Airport (set times apply).
Please note that guests staying in the bunk beds will be charged half the per person price. Child and smaller group discounts will apply.
Please note, the chalet is having some new wellness facilities installed over summer 2023, and will have a new indoor hot tub ready for the winter season. The image galleries will be updated once this work has been completed.
Chalet Kipnuk is situated in a fantastic location, just above the centre of Avoriaz and a short walk from the heart of the town where there are a range of bars, restaurants and other entertainment activities such as an ice rink, bowling alley and cinema.
Guests can ski just 50m from the door and back within a few hundred yards. You are also not far away from the local ski school meeting point and beginners area in resort.

Make an EnquiryThis dedicated chalet team highlights of the importance that the simple things that really matter are done supremely well, in order to make your ski chalet holiday easy. From warm ski boots in the morning to dedicated hosts who will help you with local advice for your ski day. From nannies with a little photo album at the end of the week to multimedia sockets to play your music, images or films. From the utter bliss of a post-piste professional massage or perhaps a manicure and facial, down to the fluffy towels. Silly little stuff like that is important to them, and so they know it will be important to you too.
Your catered stay consists of many elements, making your experience that bit more special. Upon arrival at Geneva Airport, you will be greeted by the team and taken to your chalet via coach. When entering the chalet, your beds will be made, and you will be provided with complimentary toiletries, bath and hand towels. Daily cleaning will be provided on 6 days of the week, and you will have the dedication of one host (up to 10 guests) or two chalet hosts (over 10 guests) for the duration of your stay, assisting with dinner and other aspects of your holiday if required.
A catered chalet holiday is all about the food…their chefs and hosts are passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. Their new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning, not groaning. During a week's stay in the chalet, you will be catered for 6 days, being provided with a three course set evening meal with cheese board and coffee, as well as a selection of house wines, cordials and sparkling water during dinner. Breakfast is provided on 7 days a week- 6 days with both cooked and/or continental breakfast options are available, and on the chalet host's day off, a self-service continental spread will be set up, to ensure you are energised for your day on the mountains. As if this isn't enough, a selection of home-made cakes are waiting for you in the chalet once you have finished for the day. Not to mention that canapés are provided on the first and last evening of your stay!
If you are planning a family ski holiday and are exploring childcare options, then you are in the right place. Their nannies will make your holiday and spoil you with a freedom you'd forgotten existed. Enthusiastic, qualified and caring, they'll come to your chalet, look after the children, waft them effortlessly from pyjamas to piste if required, and allow you to get on with what you came for. Regrettably, they are not available to take home!
