The Property
Situated in the heart of Chamonix, in close proximity to the resort's buzzing bars/restaurants and ski lifts, Kandahar 1 presents a desired setting for a luxury self-catered ski holiday this Winter. Sleeping 6-8 guests, this 4-bedroom apartment benefits from sensational Mont Blanc views, an infrared sauna and large terrace area for those continued après drinks.
Kandahar 1's spacious, open plan living and dining room has been excellently finished, combining luxury furnishings with a cosy, chic ambience. There is plenty of space for the whole group to socialise together on the comfortable sofas or enjoying an aperitif on the barstools. On the other side of this room, the group's nominated cook can prepare your post-ski dinners whilst still being involved in the day's conversations. A table, seating the whole group, provides the setting for your evening meals. Where temperatures allow in the season, why not head out onto the large terrace area to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining, soaking up the Mont Blanc and Chamonix views as you replenish your post-ski appetites.
Should you decide to treat yourself on your luxury self-catered ski holiday, there are a number of bars and restaurants in Chamonix for wholesome nights out enjoying a taste of the local cuisine, just a short walk from the apartment.
After dinner, why not enjoy a relaxation session in Kandahar 1's infrared sauna, ideal for nursing any aches from a hard day's skiing. For anyone looking to enjoy a further workout, Kandahar 1 also has small gym facilities to maintain peak physical condition.
In total, Kandahar 1 sleeps 6-8 guests across its 4 bedrooms. A master bedroom suite, complete with an open en-suite bathroom, offers the group leaders a night's rest in luxury. Two double/twin bedrooms are suitable for mixed groups of friends and family staying together, one benefitting from an en-suite bathroom and the other sharing a shower room with the bunk bedroom. Lastly, the bunk bedroom, featuring full-sized beds, proves a suitable to the little ones on a luxury family ski holiday in Chamonix or young adults.
Guests will also have access to a ski locker with heated boot warmers, on the ground floor, perfect for making your boots nice and toasty for the next ski morning. A private parking space is available to guests who decide to enjoy a luxury self-drive ski holiday to the French Alps.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and is offered on a self catered basis.

Location
Kandahar 1 lies in the centre of Chamonix. The Brevent ski lift is just a 2-minute drive by car, or a 10-15 minutes' walk, to ensure you can benefit from the Brevent-Flegere ski area on the other side of the valley. The closest ski lift, Planards, is 450 metres away. The Aiguille du Midi cable car is also near Kandahar 1, an approximate 8-minute drive or 14-minute walk. For access to other ski areas in Chamonix, Les Houches, Les Grands Montets and Le Tour are 12 minutes, 15 minutes, and 20 minutes by car respectively.
Ideally located next to the Montenvers Train Station, Kandahar 1 is suited to those not deciding to drive to their holiday destination. The centre of Chamonix is just a short walk away, with access to the resort's best bars and restaurants.

In addition, the Gold option comes with an open drinks cabinet, with a complimentary selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available to you.
