The Property
Chalet Darkoum Kalo is a family friendly chalet in the exclusive area of Courchevel 1850. Sleeping up to 10 people across 5 bedrooms and 2 floors, the chalet is perfectly suited for a wide range of guests.
The upper floor of the chalet is home to the spacious open-plan living area with wooden floors and cosy furnishings. Enhancing this cosy space is the roaring fire, perfect for those evenings in or chilling with friends playing card games. The dining room is set back from the sitting area, but has dramatic views down the mountain from the triple aspect windows. Outside is a large wrap-around balcony, ideal for soaking up the views in the warmer months. There is also a separate kitchen just off of the living and dining area.
Darkoum Kalo has 5 bedrooms, three of which can be arranged as twin beds if needed. On the ground floor of the chalet, the same floor as the living area, there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The lower ground consists of the three remaining bedrooms, which all have full length French windows and access to the outside area. Two of these rooms shared a bathroom and separate toilet, and the other has its own en-suite.
There is also a TV room and a ski room on the lower ground floor.
Darkoum is a four storey, free-standing chalet containing three comfortable apartments (Darkoum Kalo, Darkoum Lama and Darkoum Makan). These can be booked individually or as a combination for larger groups up to 23 guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 people with a contactless catering service. Empty bed/child discounts may be available, please enquire.
Self-catered prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet to include mid-stay cleaning and linen change.
Additional services can be arranged on request.
Location
Chalet Darkoum Kalo is beautifully positioned in a peaceful and exclusive neighbourhood of Courchevel 1850, enjoying spectacular views of the Bozel valley. The chalet is less than 100 metres from the tree-lined Bellecote piste, a green run which winds gently into Courchevel centre and the main Croisette lifts. It is also just a 15 minute walk from the chalet to the centre of Courchevel 1850.
