Chalet Daria is a stunningly beautiful chalet set in one of the best locations in Val d'Isère. Accommodating 14 guests across seven en-suite bedrooms, and offering ski-in/ski-out access, this catered chalet with a swimming pool in Val d'Isère is simply remarkable.
Chalet Daria has been made with local materials and effortlessly combines stone walls, reclaimed wood beams and inspiring interiors to truly deliver a special property. Pairing the alpine charm with a modern element of crisp, white paint and contemporary furnishings, Chalet Daria truly is a chalet which defines modern alpine living. The chalet is proudly set over five levels. On the second floor, you are welcomed by a large open-plan living space connecting the dining and living areas, as well as the fully-fitted kitchen. A double height, slanted ceiling with floor-to-ceiling windows bathes the living space in afternoon sun. A wood-burning fireplace creates a focal point for the room and defrosts guests as they rest on the sumptuous sofas after a long day on the slopes. In Chalet Daria's dining area there is a band of windows above the dining table which means the mountains accompany diners from above. Glass doors from the living areas open up to a wide, heated terrace, delivering some of the most privileged views of the Manchet valley. The terrace itself has an outdoor fireplace built into the walls of the chalet, perfect for entertaining, or for toasting marshmallows to go with your hot chocolate.
For that added luxury experience, Chalet Daria also features soothing spa facilities. Guests can enjoy their very own indoor swimming pool with counter-current system, and a Moroccan Hammam to help relax those muscles after a long day out on the pistes. There is also a massage treatment room in this space for those in need of some additional muscle therapy during their stay.
The top floor of Chalet Daria provides a large mezzanine area where you will find a place to relax and is perfect for children to play in the evening. It's also the perfect place to escape for some quiet reading or to catch up on a favourite show.
Chalet Daria hosts 14 guests across 7 bedrooms. The bedrooms all follow a similar design as the rest of the chalet, featuring reclaimed wood and natural Vanoise stone tiles to pair with comfortable bedding to create a haven for rest and relaxation. All seven bedrooms offer the ability to be configured as either double or twin rooms, allowing for great flexibility in sleeping configurations. The rooms all benefit from private en-suite facilities, and one bedroom offers access to a private south-facing balcony.
For added convenience, a ski room with boot warmers is available for guest use. There is also a large garage parking area for up to three cars.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering service, selected complimentary drinks, and in-resort driver (8am-10pm).

Chalet Daria is located in the Le Chatelard area of Val d'Isère, in a peaceful location with wonderful views up the Manchet valley. The chalet offers groups an enviable ski in/ski out location.
Chalet Daria is found along the bottom section of the red Santons piste, as it flattens out and leads you on a gentle trail into resort. The chalet is accessible from both the red Santons and black Épaule du Charvet pistes, and you can ski in to the chalet just before you cross the river. The main ski school meeting points, as well as both the Solaise gondola and Olympique cable car, are a short ski away down the bottom section of the Santons piste, with this bottom section being suitable for beginners. Alternately, with the driver service, you can reach the main snow front in just 3-minutes.
The main centre of Val d'Isère, where you will find a wide variety of shops, bars, and restaurants, is just a 4-minute chauffeured drive away. You can also walk here in around 15-minutes.

Offered on a catered basis, this property allows you to experience the luxury of a catered chalet ski holiday in the Alps. Food is at the heart of everything they do. A selection of unique and bespoke seasonal menus, that cater to a range of cuisines and dietary requirements, will be discussed prior to your stay to match your group's requirements. Daily breakfasts will be served each morning, whilst afternoon tea awaits your return from a mountain day. In the evening, dinners will be served on 5 nights, letting you explore the best that the resort has to offer for the remaining two nights. Early children's dinners are available should you require. On one evening of your choice, Champagne, and canapés will also be supplied. To accompany your food, carefully selected superior wines, all soft drinks and juices, and a range of house spirits are also available.
In addition, an in-resort ski shuttle service is included, to transport guests to and from the slopes each day. Available 8am-10pm, this service will ensure you can get first lifts if you are looking to carve fresh tracks or are needing to get to ski school on time. You can also enjoy a post-ski drink or dance at one of Val d'Isere's popular after-ski locations, knowing the service is ready to take you home when you need.

At the beginning of January 2022, I headed off to the ski resort of Val d'Isère for training towards my BASI Ski Level 3 ISIA Qualification with the ICE training program. Over the course of the next four months, I spent a lot of time becoming very familiar with the slopes of Val d'Isère, giving me some expert knowledge on the location of the ski in ski out chalets and pistes that lead to them.
