A stunningly beautiful chalet set in one of the best locations in Val d'Isère. Chalet Daria has been made with local materials and effortlessly combines stone walls, reclaimed wood beams and inspiring interiors to truly deliver a special property. Externally the chalet is equally as impressive with ample outdoor space for a snowball fight or snowman building competition.
The chalet is proudly set over five levels. The main living floor is on the second floor and is truly spectacular, with towering double height windows bathing the living space in afternoon sun. The fireplace creates a focal point for the room and features a wide heated terrace delivering some of the most privileged views in the valley. The terrace itself has an outdoor fireplace built into the walls of the chalet, perfect for entertaining or for toasting marshmallows to go with your hot chocolate.
In Chalet Daria, there is a band of windows above the dining table which means the mountains accompany diners from above. The top floor provides a large mezzanine area where you will find a place to relax and is perfect for children to play in the evening.
For that added luxury experience, Chalet Daria also features soothing spa facilities. Guest can enjoy their very own indoor swimming pool with conterflow system, and a Moroccan Hammam to help relax those muscles after a long day out on the pistes. There is also a massage treatment room in this space for those looking for a pamper during their stay.
All bedrooms in the chalet are en-suite and feature reclaimed wood and natural Vanoise stone tiles. On the ground floor there are two large bedrooms which can both be configured as twin or kings. Three more beautiful bedrooms can be found moving up to the next floor, one having a stunning south facing balcony. The last two bedrooms are found on the lowest level of the chalet, both of which can be configured as kings or twins.
The main entrance is on the west facing side of the chalet and leads straight into the cloakroom and ski room. There is also a large covered parking area for up to three cars. Everything has been thought of in this modern, homely chalet.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and includes full gourmet catering service, in-resort driver service (8am-10pm) and selected complimentary drinks.
Chalet Daria is located in the Le Chatelard area of Val d'Isère in an enviable ski in ski out position. Accessible from the Red Santons and Black Epaule de Charvet pistes, the chalet can be reached by skiers of various abilities. The main ski school meeting point and the Solaise and Olympique gondolas are a short ski away down a level piste suitable for beginners.
Being situated at the top of resort, Chalet Daria offers unobstructed views of the Vanoise National Park. The main centre and shops, bars and restaurants are a just a 5 minute chauffeured drive away or 20 minute walk.

At the beginning of January 2022, I headed off to the ski resort of Val d'Isère for training towards my BASI Ski Level 3 ISIA Qualification with the ICE training program. Over the course of the next four months, I spent a lot of time becoming very familiar with the slopes of Val d'Isère, giving me some expert knowledge on the location of the ski in ski out chalets and pistes that lead to them.
