Grand Pré 4 is a split-level penthouse apartment, spanning three floors, that sleeps up to 8 guests across four bedrooms. This is a wonderful retreat for a ski-loving family or a group of friends, exuding a luxury mountain feel with sensational snowy scenery to match.
Grand Pré 4 is accessed via the third floor of the building and upon entering, you are drawn into the stunning open-plan living area that encapsulates the true meaning of a mountain home. Featuring typical alpine touches, comfortable soft furnishings and huge windows, this space oozes a sophisticated and spacious atmosphere to relax in, all sitting before incredible mountain panoramas framed across the back window wall. Double-height ceilings further add to the airy ambience and allow for plenty of natural light to fill the room. After a mountain day, the plush lounge corner is the perfect spot to rest weary legs, next to the fireplace, and enjoy the views outside or TV shows. Open-plan in its layout, the living area seamlessly flows to the generous dining space, where a quintessential alpine dining experience awaits the whole group on the wooden table. A sleek kitchen completes the room for meal preparations. A rustic ladder leads up to a cosy mezzanine reading snug, for a good book after dinner.
To fully appreciate your surroundings, a balcony leads out through the glass doors in the main living area. Complete with a table and chairs, this outdoor spot is perfect for alfresco meals or drinks watching the sun set over the Bellevarde mountain that overlooks the property.
In total, Grand Pré 4 accommodates for 8 guests across four bedrooms, that are split between the penthouse's three floors. The style in each of these en-suite rooms follows that found in the main living areas, adopting a contemporary alpine flair owing to wooden cladding and luxury furnishings. On the top floor, a sumptuous master sits under vaulted ceilings, under the eaves of the property, with a private balcony and en-suite featuring a Hammam-shower to truly allow the lead guests to unwind. A second double bedroom also features a private balcony on the penthouse's middle level, for additional luxury.
For relaxation, guests staying at Grand Pré 4 have access to the residence's shared spa facilities. Situated on the building's first floor, tired ski muscles will be welcomed by a heated swimming pool, with counter-current and jet spas, and a sauna, to rest and recover ready for forthcoming ski days.
The penthouse has its own private laundry facilities. Guests also have access to a ski room with private ski lockers. For self-driving guests, two indoor parking spaces with EV charging ports, are available in the garage on the lowest level of the building.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the apartment for up to 8 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change.

Grand Pré 4 is located in the Le Legettaz area of Val-d'Isère. Offering ski in, ski out access from the rear of the building onto the Piste M (Red Piste) and Legettaz area (Green beginners area). A gentle ski in the morning takes you to the resort's main ski lift hub and snow front. For beginners skiing in Val d'Isère, a number of nursery slopes can also be found at the main snow front. The Legettaz drag lift, approximately 350m away, is ideal for beginners looking to practise too.
A 10-minute walk will take you to the heart of Val-d'Isère with its shops, bars and restaurants, or conveniently, there is a bus stop that stops almost directly outside the property taking you down into the town within a matter of minutes. The elevated nature of the property means it commands far-reaching views over the famous Face Piste and the Rocher de Bellevarde.

Available for a self catered luxury ski holiday, you can expect daily housekeeping services to keep the luxury property in spotless condition all week. The property will all be set up ready for the week ahead with the finest linen and towels and luxury bathroom products, and towels will be changed halfway through the week.
Should you desire, this property is also available on an accommodation only basis. Perfect for groups who want total privacy and freedom on their ski holiday, you will be left to your own devices without the services of staff, although you can still expect your luxury apartment to be well set up ready for your arrival. At the beginning of January 2022, I headed off to the ski resort of Val d'Isère for training towards my BASI Ski Level 3 ISIA Qualification with the ICE training program.
