La Tzoumaz is located in the adjacent valley to Verbier, being just a 5 minute cable car ride away.

The Property

Chalet Auriane has been designed by a team of architects and interior designers utilising stone, wood and steel to create a harmonious light-filled space perfect for relaxing in.

With the best view over the valley, the chalet is spread over two floors perched on the side of the mountain. Access is either by skis directly from the piste or by a small private funicular lift system which will deliver you from the road to the front door.

The outdoor Jacuzzi is located immediately adjacent to the relaxation spa room containing the novel Sanarium sauna system which allows every combination of heat therapy from traditional sauna through tropical rain forest to steam room.

Upstairs is a stunning open plan living room/ dining room and kitchen with floor to ceiling picture windows guaranteeing breathtaking views. The central uniquely designed fireplace links all aspects of the room and provides a focal point while you watch the cooks prepare your meals in the impressive ultramodern kitchen with its thick matt black granite work surfaces.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 guests (8 adults and 4 children) in five good sized ensuite bedrooms, including a master suite, all of which have fabulous panoramic views.

Services and Inclusions

The chalet is managed by two full-time experienced staff, who live out. They are chosen for their enthusiasm, experience and ability to go that one extra step to ensure your stay is all you wished for. Prior to your arrival, the chalet manager will contact you to enquire about your dietary wishes, preferences and the timing of meals for any little ones in your party.

Our chalet staff are in the chalet early to late 6 days a week ensuring you get the most out of your holiday, but have one day off a week, allowing you to experience one of the local restaurants. They will be delighted to advise you of the available options.

Good food and wine are two of life's richer pleasures. Throughout your stay our talented cook, who is an experienced and creative artist, will produce modern and traditional cuisine to tantalize your taste buds. The cook will frequently take account of your likes and expectations, rarely sticking to a fixed menu plan.

Toddlers and younger children are not left out. Combined with a little magic and some help from the mums, the cook will plan special menus, ensuring the little ones also enjoy wonderful food during their luxury ski holiday and at a time best suited to them.

As ever, it is up to you to set the pace and dining can be as formal or relaxed as you wish. A typical day in Chalet Auriane starts off with morning tea served in bed, followed by a hearty breakfast. While you are out skiing, a sumptuous afternoon tea is prepared and laid out for your return. In the evening, relax with some pre-dinner champagne and canapés before sitting down to a 4 course meal. After dinner, enjoy coffee and chocolates in front of the roaring log fire, discussing the highlights of the day.

The evening meals are complemented by a selection of delicious white and red wines. You also have the option of purchasing even higher quality wines from our extensive à la carte list. The collection is predominantly focused on French classified wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Languedoc, but internationally recognised local wines have also been stored in the perfect cellaring conditions.
