Chalet Opale Ambre is a brilliant option for larger groups of up to 21 guests, a combination of two luxury chalets in Tignes Le Lac: Chalet Opale and Chalet Ambre. In a prime location for both skiing and exploring the resort, this chalet has a luxurious modern alpine style, and two hot tubs for guests to make the most of on their luxury ski holiday to Tignes.
Chalet Opale Ambre has a sophisticated, contemporary chalet style, with sleek wooden interiors and tall vaulted ceilings on show in the two spacious open-plan living areas. Luxurious furnishings and elegant features can be found throughout, including the showpiece, a stunning Lorenzo Quinn sculpture in Chalet Opale. Each lounge benefits from the comforting warmth of a feature fireplace, with convivial dining areas and fully-equipped kitchen filling out the living rooms. Extensive balconies provide you with the perfect space to unwind with an après-ski cocktail, whilst taking in some breathtaking views of the lake and mountains around Tignes.
For ultimate relaxation, each chalet includes an outdoor hot tub on one of its balconies, allowing guests to unwind after a day of skiing in the Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area. Within Chalet Opale, a garage is also home to table football, should you prefer to unwind with some friendly competition instead.
Chalet Opale Ambre can welcome up to 21 guests overall, spread across 9 bedrooms. Each chalet features a top floor Master suite and then a sleeping floor with the rest of its bedrooms. The rooms have a sharp, clean design, with neutral browns, woods, and whites utilised to comforting effect. 6 bedrooms offer the flexibility of being taken as double or twin, with a seventh family-style suite making this a great option for family ski holidays to the Alps. The rooms all benefit from sleek, elegantly appointed en-suite shower rooms.
When staying at Chalet Opale Ambre, you will have use of a ski room with boot warmers, one parking space, and laundry facilities. The two chalets interconnect via a door between the kitchen areas, or through the garage on the ground floor.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 21 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering, open bar, daily housekeeping and in-resort driver service.

Chalet Opale Ambre is a luxury chalet in Tignes Le Lac, occupying a great location close to both the centre and the slopes.
The chalet is located a minute's drive from the main snow front of Tignes Le Lac, where you will find the main ski school meeting points. The main lifts here are the Palafour chairlift and the Toviere gondola, the latter of which takes you towards the skiing in Val d'Isère. Alternately, if you walk three minutes up the road from the chalet, you can access the bottom of the blue Petit Col piste. This skis you beneath the road and to the Chaudannes and Paquis chairlifts.
The main snow front by the lake is also the centre of Tignes Le Lac. From here, you have a couple of roads leading off in two directions, where you will find the main concentration of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops in resort.

At the centre of your catered chalet experience is a food philosophy of gourmet dining to exceed your expectations. The professional chefs design their own menu weekly, utilising seasonal ingredients and local produce, with any dietary requirements and special requests happily incorporated into their menus. Each morning, a fresh continental spread with fruit, yogurts, bread, croissants and a daily breakfast special will be set out to start your day for the slopes the right way. On return, you will be welcomed back to the chalet with a freshly baked cake, cheese charcuterie, or even doughnuts, a different option each day. Pre-dinner canapés and Champagne set the stage for the main event, a gourmet four-course meal set to delight your taste buds. While a selection of house wines are made available to pair with dinner, for an additional cost you can also peruse the wine cave and pick your favourite option, with all wines sourced from the best French vineyards.
Chalet Opale Ambre also offers daily chalet cleaning and an in-resort driver service, running between the hours of 8am-10:30am and 4pm-7pm, both of which are also available on the self catered package. A range of additional services can also be organised at an additional cost, through the chalet's concierge. These include ski essentials like passes, lessons, and in-chalet ski and boot fitting, to more bespoke services like childcare, massage treatments, and arranging special events for families and corporate groups.
