The beautifully rustic wood and stone interiors of Chalet 1597 are complimented by chic features, that equate to a homely mountain atmosphere. The ground floor holds the main living spaces, with a living room made up of two inviting sofas surrounding an antique leather topped coffee table warmed by the traditional Tyrolean stube heater - perfect for relaxing with a glass of fizz or hot chocolate after your day skiing. The stately dining room sits in a central position, seating a total of 14 guests, with the flickering fireplace adding a glowing ambiance to your evening meals. From the dining room, strong vintage wooden doors transport you into the kitchen area. There is a second lounge area on the first floor, with a classical sofa and armchairs accompanying a large desk; it's a relaxing space for an evening read of your favourite page turner.
The outdoor areas of Chalet 1597 include a terrace with outdoor seating to admire the views of the snowy valley. These can be enjoyed from the outdoor furniture, on the wooden decking, or from the outdoor hot bath that's ideal for soaking tired legs. Inside, on the ground floor, guests will also find a bio sauna and spa area to enjoy some peaceful recovery time. There's also a massage room to target specific muscles.
Through a door off the main living area is a snug TV lounge with a wraparound red sofa, which is great for a kid's hangout and movie nights in the chalet. For some post dinner entertainment head down to the lower ground floor where you'll find a traditional bar area and wine cellar, where better to finish a brilliant day in the mountains.
The five en-suite bedrooms of Chalet 1597 sleep up to twelve guests. Each room welcomes guests with comfortable, warming furnishings that seamlessly match the alpine chic style adopted through a mixture of wooden cladded walls and modern en-suite amenities. The two master double suites are on the first floor, one with an expansive connected living area and en-suite bathroom, and the other a designated dressing room and en-suite shower room. For children, a dormitory style bedroom, featuring four single beds, creates an ideal space for younger members to enjoy. A twin bedroom and double, which can also be set up as a twin room, complete the room configurations providing flexible arrangements for your group's requirements.
For convenience, guests at Chalet 1597 have use of one garage parking space and two additional outdoor parking spaces. Guests also have use of the private ski room with boot warmers to store all ski gear ready for tomorrow's new adventure.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered with full staff services including a professional chef, hosting/housekeeper team, and in-resort shuttle service. Food and drink is to be charged in addition.

The chalet is also available on a self catered basis with daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change. When taken on a self catered basis, the chalet also includes a shared shuttle service.
Sat on the peaceful hillside of Stubenbach in Lech, Chalet 1597 enjoys a beautiful location that's easily accessible to skiing and the charming village's amenities. The Schlosskopf and Schlegelkopfbahn chairlifts can be reached in approximately 5 minutes by car, each taking you up to the expansive Lech Zürs ski area. The beginner slopes and Rüfikopfbahn gondola can also be reached in the same amount of time.
Driving into the centre of Lech takes 5-minutes from Chalet 1597. Here you'll find a variety of fantastic bars and restaurants to sample, as well as some boutiques to peruse. For evening activities or non-skiers, the Sport Park Lech is a multi-sports complex found a short 4-minute drive from the chalet.

As part of the catered classic service, guests can choose between two food and beverage packages during the pre-arrival stage of their booking. Both packages offer the same high quality of food, using locally sourced, seasonal produce, and a menu tailored to your group's preferences, dietary requirements, and wishes. The main difference between the packages available is in the quantity of food, which is reflected in the cost.
The Adventurer Package is for those who enjoy relaxed evenings without distraction and long days on the mountain. Each morning, a continental breakfast will be laid out for you, providing the necessary fuel needed for a full day on the slopes. In the evenings, a two-course menu is available, with hearty main courses and a choice between starter or dessert.
The Alpinist Package is for those guests who prefer a little more service to their mealtimes, and appreciate a generous evening meal as prepared by your excellent chalet chef. Each morning, a continental breakfast will be served by a host, providing your fuel for a day exploring the mountain. In the evenings, your mealtimes will open with a canapés selection, followed by a delectable three-course meal, where you can take your time over dinner and regale over the day's events.
This luxury chalet comes with the use of a shared shuttle service. Operating between the hours of 8am-11am and 3pm-6pm, the service is on hand for drop-off to and pick-up from the slopes and chalet only. On the staff nights off, this service will also be available for restaurant drop off and pick up until 10pm.
At this signature luxury chalet, you also have the option of upgrading from the catered classic to the catered luxe service. When upgrading to the catered luxe service, guests will enjoy a number of upgraded and additional services. You will now have extended use of an in-resort driver service. Running from 8am to 8pm, you will have your own dedicated chauffeur, whilst between the hours of 8pm and 1am, this changes to a shared driver service. This chauffeur service makes it easy to get from your chalet to the slopes and back, as well as explore all that the fabulous resort has to offer. You will also have use of a highly qualified ski instructor, on hand to provide complimentary ski instruction for the first two days on the mountain. They can act as everything from a mountain guide to show you round the ski area, be on hand to help improve your technique, or take the kids off for their first ever lesson.
When taking the catered luxe service, guests can choose from either the alpinist package or the pioneer package. The Pioneer Package is for groups who see food as essential a part of their luxury ski holiday as they do the skiing. For those wanting to enjoy memorable meals together and plenty of downtime, this is the most complete catered offering. Each morning, you will be treated to a cooked and continental breakfast offering, setting you up for the day in the best way imaginable. On return from skiing, afternoon tea will be waiting for you to snack on as you enjoy après ski time together back at the chalet. In the evenings, canapés will be followed by a delightful four-course menu of delicious meals, ones that are sure to last long in the memory even after your luxury ski holiday has come to an end.
On all food and drink packages, soft drinks are included as standard. You can then opt to have alcohol for an additional cost, with a selection of wine, beers, and spirits available, with the amount and cost dependent on the number of adult guests in your group.
