Skiing in Morzine
For families, Morzine ski holidays are amongst the best. The local Morzine ski area above Pleney is shared with Les Gets ski resort and is perfect for beginners and intermediates. Interlinked, tree-lined blue pistes snake down to resort and are great confidence builders. More challenging pistes can be found in the Nyon corner of the Morzine ski area, with plenty for advanced skiers to tackle. While Morzine isn't the highest resort (1,000m), snow is typically reliable, and snow cannons cover many of the routes back down to resort. For high-altitude skiing, neighbouring Avoriaz reaches up to 2,466m.
